License to Breed

With infant mortality rates on the rise, a program has been implemented in Michigan to teach middle schoolers how to properly care for babies. Sure it seems like a good idea. Everyone ought to know how to keep another human being alive. But I'd be willing to bet that it's just a matter of time before some ultra-conservative group accuses the state's initiative of giving kids a license to make babies of their own.
